1983 Hamburg Industries Co., Ltd. was founded in Taipei, Taiwan.   1984-1991 Hamburg was authorized as sole agent in Taiwan territory by Fujikura, a leading Japanese manufacturer of heat-shrinkable tubing and flexible flat cable (FFC) In response to increasing market demand, PVC tube, Cable tie and other electronic related products were introduced to the product lineups of the company. 1992-1996 Head Quarter was relocated at ShenKeng, Taipei, Taiwan Humburg Marketing (M) Sdn. Bhd, Malaysia office, was established as the first step towards the globalization of the Company's business approach. Shenzhen factory was set up to develop the sales, marketing and production in China. subsidiary, was established to serve customers of ERP and MIS systems. Vertechs Co., Ltd. was established to engage in the research and development of Smart Card Connector/Acceptor. Suzhou Hamburg Electronic Industries Co., Ltd. was founded in Suzhou, China (Suzhou Factory). 1997-2001 Head Quarter obtained ISO 9001 certification Second-phase expansion of Shenzhen factory was completed. Hanpao Co., Ltd. was established in Shenzhen, China (Shenzhen Factory). 2002-2006 Expansion of Head Quarter and Suzhou factory were completed. The construction of Malaysia factory was completed. 2007 Hamburg (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. was established in Shenzhen, China (Shenzhen Factory II). Hamburg (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was established in Shanghai, China (Shanghai factory). Set up commercial agents in South Korea, French and U.S.A. 2008 Hamburg acquired CANON GP, and SONY GP certification. 2009 All factories of Hamburg have been ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, IECQ QC080000 certificated. Hamburg obtained SAMSUNG ECO certification. 2010 Shenzhen & Shanghai factory have passed the ISO 14064 verification. (greenhouse gases emision verification)
